There are many students participating and waiting for their turn.
Qiaoqiao asks, "When is our turn?"
"We're next. Let's go." Xiaoxiao says.
They play very well, but they don't win the contest.
Betty Smith is the winner. She gets the first prize. Everybody Gives her a big hand.
When Xiaoxiao and Qiaoqiao get home their mom asks, "How was the talent show?"
Xiaoxiao says, "It wasn't too bad."
Qiaoqiao doesn't say anything. He looks down.
Mom asks him, "What happened to you?"
Qiaoqiao says that they lost the contest because he made a mistake.
Mom hugs him. Then she says, "That's okay. You did your best. I'm proud of you guys."
