Hi!I'm Lucas.I had fun with the experiments in this unit.Didyou?
I really liked the weird mud.I put a little cornstarch into adish.
Then I put a little water into the cornstarch.It looked likeglue.
I thought it was wet It was,but it wasn't
When I touched it,it was dry!
Many foods have cornstarch in them.
So I guess you could eat the mud.
But,would you chew it or drink it?What do you think?
My teacher showed me the experiment with the water in the jar
It was a full jar of water and thin piece of cardboard.
I thought I knew what was going to happen:the water was goingto spill.
I was glad she was doing it over a sink
But I guessed wrong.The water didn't spill.That surprised me!
Did you try that experiment with wet cardboard?
We did!Wet cardboard didn't hold the water.
I think my very favourite experiment was the Mobius strip
The Mobius strip was very easy to make,but it was very hard tounderstand!
I'm holding a Mobius strip in my hands right now,and I stilldon't understand it!
I'm glad Brian didn't try it with wet cardboard!
