第25课：不要停下来！
THINK ABOUT IT!What places do you pass on your way to school?Look at the pictures.What places do Jenny and Brian pass on their way to school?Jenny and Brian are on their way to school.
珍妮和布赖恩在去上学的路上。
They are walking, because it's sunny.
他们在步行，因为天气晴朗。
"This is fun," says Brian. "Usually we take the school bus."
“这很好玩，”布赖恩说。“通常我们乘校车。”
"I want to show you the neighbourhood this morning," says Jenny.
“今天早上我想领你到周围看看，”珍妮说。
"The bus goes too fast. When you walk, you can see things better."
“校车行驶的很快。当你步行时，你可以好好看看。”
They come to a corner.
他们到了一个角落。
"Do we go this way now?" asks Brian.
“我们现在走这条路吗？”布赖恩问。
He is pointing to the right.
他指着右边。
"No, turn left," says Jenny.
“不，向左拐，”珍妮说。
"Then cross the street."
“然后穿过那条街。”
They look left, then right, and cross the street.
他们向左看，然后向右看，穿过大街。
"I like going this way," says Jenny.
“我喜欢走这条路，”珍妮说。
"We will go past some of my favourite shops."
“我们将走过一些我喜欢的商店。”
Soon, they walk past a big store window.
不久，他们走过一个大的商店橱窗。
Brian stops. He sees bread, cakes and donuts.
布赖恩停了下来。他看到面包、蛋糕和油炸圈饼。
"It's the bakery!" he says. "I'm hungry."
“这是面包店！”他说。“我饿了。”
Let's go in and buy something!
让我们进去买些东西吧！
We can't stop now, Brian.
布赖恩，我们现在不能停下。
"Come on! We don't want to be late for school," says Jenny.
“快点！我们不想上学迟到，”珍妮说。
"We'll come here this afternoon."
“今天下午我们还会到这儿。”
Soon, they pass another window.
很快，他们经过另一个橱窗。
It's the bookstore. This time, Jenny stops.
这是一家书店。这一次，珍妮停了下来。
"This is my favourite store. It has so many good things to read."
“这是我最喜欢的店。它有很多可阅读的好东西。”
Jenny stands and looks at all of the books in the window.
珍妮站着，看着橱窗里所有的书。
Remember, Jenny? We can't stop. Let's go to school!
